Reason – Barely Miss

Reason Barely Miss Reason from TDE has released his newest song, “Barely Miss.”. The TDE camp has recently been the source of a lot of intriguing news.  Ahead to the release of Kendrick Lamar’s final album on the label, musicians like Ab-Soul and ScHoolboy Q have been preparing new music.  Over the past two weeks, Reason has also been pouring out a steady torrent of heat.  He previously collaborated with Jay Rock on the song “Is What It Is” and is back at it with his most recent single, “Barely Miss.”  The rapper tackles a tranquil, flute-heavy production by Allen Ritter, Vinylz, and Maneesh on which he focuses on the Black community’s tenacity and fortitude in the face of long-term injustice. We don’t miss, he raps, “What you get you take n***as, take a system, take a struggle/ Take oppression, take a hustle put it in that pot of gumbo.” Reason has released two new singles this month, and it appears like a new album may be on the way this summer.
